We visited this centrally located casino and were able to use our MYVEGAS points.
The Rewards Desk staff were fantastic and set up our free casino chips and tickets to a show.
The show was the 4 Tunes, a group of four West End theatre actors who sing a whole variety of songs, everything from Bohemian Rhapsody to musical numbers.
It was a great show, set in an intimate theatre of tables and booths.
Good selection of beers and drinks available.
The casino is set in a former nightclub that was very well renovated and set up.
Had a very friendly blackjack dealer and enjoyed the experience.
I don't know if there are other casinos around London, but this is a very high quality one.
In the centre of London, we dropped by to take a look.
Good ambience and friendly staff on our first time here; the second time we were greeted with stricter staff -- avoid the Chinatown facing entrance!
We only played slots since minimum bets go as low as £0.
Easy to navigate, great facilities.
A little slice of Las Vegas plunked into the middle of Leicester Square!
Open late for drinks, and we were treated to a sequence of dancing ladies in skimpy outfits before we filed into their cabaret space.
Cowgirl routine, oh yes.
Great show and it has a sort of lumpy scrappy charm.
We went to the Hippodrome for the 2014 Sochi Men's Gold Medal Final of Ice Hockey.
I usually avoid going continue reading in Leicester Square like the plague, but I was actually quite impressed with the Hippodrome.
Granted, it was on a Sunday daytime so it was probably an unusually chilled out atmospherebut I really liked the spacious set up, big screen, hot wings, and reasonably priced drinks.
Can I recommend the Hippodrome for gambling?
I have absolutely no idea.
But for sporting events, it's a winner.
Sounded like a no brainer on the face of it.
As it turned out it was indeed a no brainer.
The service was excellent, the food from a short set menu was superb and the atmosphere felt quite classy for a casino!
Could be that the atmosphere changes as the night progresses but at around 8-11pm it was great.
Add to that the superb smoking terrace upstairs and it was a great night out.
By the way even if you hate smoking make your way up the winding staircases just to have a gander at the terraces.
I would highly recommend a visit even at 'normal' prices!
I was only there because it was one of the few places showing NFL games.
They have drinks, and football, and single zero roulette.
I'm actually really, and pleasantly, surprised at my experience here tonight.
I've never been to the Hippodrome, but have been to many Casinos in London and around the world.
Hippodrome definitely do it right.
After arriving at 3am on a Saturday night, the place had a line out the door, which was nice to see.
The line moved fast.
The bouncers were friendly and respectful.
This is really important to me, as feeling welcome makes check this out want to return.
The interior is grand, with a large bar on the opening floor.
There are many machines and tables.
I liked the electronic Roulette machines with live spins.
Their "Lola's Underground Casino" on the floor below is also great - another gambling room with a bar and a dancer.
I didn't check out the other floors but will most definitely be back to check out their Steakhouse and Poker room.
Overall, Hippodrome is a classy, yet casual, fun casino.
I will definitely be back!
This place was amazing.
Seriously I check this out walked past this place so many times over the past 25 years since working in London, you just don't know about these places until you go in for yourself.
I just thought it was a 'Gamblers Den' for the rich and famous but no it's totally not like that.
This place is great for birthday landmarks or any other events that you wish to hold at the Hippodrome to celebrate in one of the private function rooms to hire, plus there's many bars to drink from and Wine vending machines to get your own drinks from and even a Cabaret Theatre for great shows.
Since opening in 1900 the building over the years has gone through some amazing transformations especially when opened it had animals from Polar Bears, Sea Lions and Elephants that dived into a massive tank that held over 100,000 gallons read article water you can see some of these old pictures on the walls around the casino.
The steak house 'HELIOTS' is named after Claire Heliot who fed the Tigers in 1901 at the Hippodrome.
I personally love the downstairs Lolas to have a little flutter as seen more intimate and has amazing pole Dancers doing their thing worth a watch just wish they would sometimes have some half naked males doing some pole dancing.
This is one of the very best place's in London.
Of course if you're a gambler, it goes without saying.
Well, check out the website to see what else they have on offer.
Located just seconds away from the Tube, in best part of London.
It has great food, drinks, entertainment and so much more.
They have theatre shows, live events.
The staff are wonderful, warm, welcoming, friendly, kind and always on hand to help.
The venue is open 24 hours a day and is always busy.
It's a must see place.
I'll be back there again very soon.
Friendly staff and good vibe.
And they've tapped into the speakeasy trend down in the basement they have black and white film projections in the hallway.
Scantily clad dancers with a 1920s style influence on their minimal clothing.
So, this place is quite a mix.
Good fun and good times going on but it can also be very intense.
This is for serious gamblers.
The minimum play rates are higher than other casinos I've previously been to.
Non-alcoholic drinks are free.
There is waitress service but it is painfully slow!
Drinks prices are fairly reasonable though.
I was so prepared, minutes jobs sa casino entering on my first time Friday, to poke fun at a free entry, 24-hour casino smack dab in the middle of touristy Leicester Square.
My friend and I explored the gargantuan 4-floor complex just to visit, and couldn't find anything to really complain about.
It's an absolutely gorgeous, up-to-date venue- helpful staff, well-spaced, great DJ-fronted music I went at 1am on a Fridaya nice vibe and ambiance for what it was, an open-air terrace and plenty of non-gambling options to enjoy yourself if slots and blackjack aren't your thing.
I wouldn't mind coming back at all for a drink-- and that's the largest tip.
It's no strings attached free entry and the alcohol flows all night and day long.
This place really surprised me.
Check it out if you ever find yourself in Leicester Square!!
I came to Hippodrome a few months ago to catch some sunday night american football.
I looked up places to watch the NFL and everything was steering me to Hippodrome.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived.
I saw lots of jerseys of different teams and they had at least a dozen tvs and were showing each game.
I check this out really surprised London had a bar with such an American football following.
For food they have all the American bar food staples.
Wings, burgers, fries, nachos, ect.
For drinks, they have a full bar and lots of American beers on draft.
Which is really silly because American beer is absolute shit and British beer is divine.
Overall, its the place to go for the NFL in London.
This place looks amazing - I have only ever been to one other casino but this was much jazzier.
A big stage, big glittery lights, large casino tables.
I didn't actually go for the casino just brunch at the restaurant however if friends invited me to go I would suggest this place!
Open 24 he's so we stayed until 4am.
Place was still rocking.
All good service, fun atmosphere and gray selection.
The games range from cheap to reasonable per round which is cool; no high pressure high priced tables Hippodrome casino 5 stars because this place has it all!
This casino is lovely, a private party?
The only thing i must say about the 1st floor some of the bartenders have such a stinky attitude!
Casino nights can be expensive they know the standard that is expected, don't worry trust me is not being rude, rude is taking your money for terrible service terrible drinks, rude is spoiling your time your experience, thats rude' On the 2nd floor err I've never been there, once i wanted to come out of the lift on the second floor and i was stopped and sent to the other floors, if someone knows please tell me haha On the 3rd floor you have the heated roof terrace which its cosy but still nice they even have shisha, you can smoke cigars, has its own bar and its own roulette table yes thats right so you can drink, smoke and play' all at the same time, sounds good huh : also on the 3rd floor usually is my fav barman id say the only one that knows how to prepare a proper mojito On the lower ground floor probably the fav place for group guys, Lola's a casino with dancing women, I've never been there, certainly I've nothing to do in there, so i can't tell.
One of my fav places in london, worth to go and visit!
I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice and.
The last time I stepped foot in a casino was in Vegas over two years ago.
I'm not a serious gambler but enjoy watching the occasional game of poker or blackjack.
From the first floor balcony, you can look down on the main floor and do some fun people-watching.
The main The drinks are also surprisingly reasonable for its central location and how ritzy everything is.
£4-ish beers and £5-7 glasses of wine.
I just wish there was a viewing platform for the poker deck on the fourth floor.
As good as it gets!

Redefining our entertainment landscape, The Hippodrome Casino offers impeccable service, 24 hours a day.
History Established in 2008.
Originally opened in 1900 by the renowned theatre architect Frank Matcham as a circus variety theatre, the Hippodrome featured a 100,000 gallon tank in which elephants, polar bears and sea lions would swim.
Works in 1909 enlarged the stage and advanced the proscenium arch to suit the theatre for variety rather than circus and, from 1912, revue.
In 1957 the Hippodrome was transformed into the legendary Talk of the Town theatre restaurant by Charles Forte, Bernard Delfont and Robert Nesbitt and featured stars including Shirley Bassey, Stevie Wnder and Judy Garland.
After various different incarnations, including a nightclub under the management of Peter Stringfellow, in 2008 the venue returned to its roots as a circus venue for burlesque cabaret La Clique, which closed in June 2009.
The planning application by The Hippodrome Casino Limited was approved by Westminster City Council in 2006 and a gaming license awarded in late 2008.

I usually avoid going out in Leicester Square like the plague, but I was actually quite impressed with the Hippodrome.
As it turned out it was indeed excellent binions casino million dollars for no brainer.

I didn't check out the other floors but will most definitely be back to check out their Steakhouse and Poker room.
Overall, Hippodrome is a https://reliance-pw.ru/casino/casino-fantastic-majadas-guatemala.html, yet casual, fun casino.
I will definitely be back!
This place was amazing.
Seriously I have walked past this place so many times over the past 25 years since working in London, you just don't know about these places until you go in for yourself.
I just thought it was a 'Gamblers Den' for the rich and famous but here it's totally not like that.

I was so prepared, minutes before entering on my first time Friday, to poke fun at a free entry, 24-hour casino smack dab in the middle of touristy Leicester Square.
I was really surprised London had a bar with such an American football following.

Place was still rocking.
All good service, fun atmosphere and gray selection.

The last time I stepped foot in a casino was in Vegas over two years ago.

From the first floor balcony, you can look down on the main floor and do some fun people-watching.
The main The drinks are also surprisingly reasonable for its central location and how ritzy everything is.

The Hippodrome is a building on the corner of Cranbourn Street and Charing Cross Road in the City of Westminster, London. The name was used for many different theatres and music halls, of which the London Hippodrome is one of only a few survivors. Hippodrome is an old word referring to places of entertainment where horse races and the like were.

I didn't check out the other floors but will most definitely be back to check out their Steakhouse and Poker room.

This place was amazing.
Seriously I have walked past this place so many times over the past 25 years since working in London, you just don't know about these places until you go in for yourself.
I just thought it was a 'Gamblers Den' for the rich and famous but no it's totally not like that.
This place is great for birthday landmarks or any other events that you wish to hold at the Hippodrome to celebrate in one of the private function rooms to hire, plus there's many bars to drink from and Wine vending machines to get here own drinks from and even a Cabaret Theatre for great shows.
Since opening in 1900 the building over the years has gone through some amazing transformations especially when opened it had animals from Polar Bears, Sea Lions and Elephants that dived into a massive tank that held over 100,000 gallons of water you can see some of these old pictures on the walls around the casino.

Scantily clad dancers with a 1920s style influence on their minimal clothing.
So, this place is quite a mix.
Good fun and good times going on but it can also be very intense.

I was really surprised London had a bar with such an American football following.
For food they have all the American bar food staples.
Wings, burgers, fries, nachos, ect.
For drinks, they have a full bar and lots of American beers on draft.
Which is really silly because American beer is absolute shit and British beer is divine.
Overall, its the place to go for the NFL in London.

Good ambience and friendly staff on our first time here; the second time we were greeted with stricter staff -- avoid the Chinatown facing entrance!
We only played slots since minimum bets go as low as £0.
Easy to navigate, great facilities.

Open late for drinks, and we were treated to a sequence of dancing ladies in skimpy outfits before we filed into their cabaret space.
Cowgirl routine, oh yes.
Great show and it has a sort of lumpy scrappy charm.

I usually avoid going out in Leicester Square like the plague, but I was actually quite impressed with the Hippodrome.

By the way even if you hate smoking make your way up the winding link just to have a gander at the terraces.
I would highly recommend a visit even at 'normal' prices!

I was only there because it was one of the few places showing NFL games.
They have drinks, and football, and single zero roulette.

I've never been to the Hippodrome, but have been to many Casinos in London and around the world.
Hippodrome definitely do it right.
After arriving at 3am on a Saturday night, the place had a line out the door, which was nice to see.
The line moved fast.
The bouncers were friendly and respectful.
This is really important to me, as feeling welcome makes me want to return.

Seriously I have walked past this place so many times over the past 25 years since working in Hippodrome casino london address, you just don't know about these places until you go in for yourself.
I just thought it was a 'Gamblers Den' for the rich and famous but no it's totally not like that.
This place is great for birthday landmarks or any other events that you wish to hold at the Hippodrome to celebrate in one of the private function rooms to hire, plus there's many bars to drink from and Wine vending machines to get your own drinks continue reading and even a Cabaret Theatre for great shows.
Since opening in 1900 the building over the years has gone through some amazing transformations especially when opened it had animals from Polar Bears, Sea Lions and Elephants that dived into a massive tank that held over 100,000 gallons of water you can see some of these old pictures on the walls around the casino.

Drinks prices are fairly reasonable learn more here />Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

I was so prepared, minutes before entering on my first time Friday, to poke fun at a free entry, 24-hour casino smack dab in the middle of touristy Leicester Square.

I looked up places to watch the NFL and everything was steering me to Hippodrome.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived.
I saw lots of jerseys of different teams and they had at least a dozen tvs and were showing each game.
I was really surprised London had a bar with such an Hippodrome casino london address football following.
For food they have all the American bar food staples.
nashville equipment tn casino rental in, burgers, fries, nachos, ect.
For drinks, they have a full bar and lots of American beers on draft.
Which is really silly because American beer is absolute shit and British beer is divine.
Overall, its the place to go for the NFL in London.
