Heritage Buffet is located inside Vicksburg's Ameristar Casino.
After you go through the main entrance into the casino, stop by the cashier to pick up a free MyChoice player's card if you don't already have one.
If you have a MyChoice card from another state, it will not work here because their systems are not connected.
You'll have to sign up for a new one here.
In these technologically advanced times, perhaps they will make the effort to connect them through a centralized system similar to the Total Rewards system from Caesar's Entertainment, which works in any state.
Proceed to the far left corner of the casino and take the escalator or elevator up to the Heritage Buffet entrance.
I came here around 9:30pm on Friday night for the seafood buffet dinner.
There was not a line at the entrance but quite a sizable waiting line for the crab legs and grilled oysters.
The stars of the buffet tonight were the delicious grilled oysters!
My stomach was grumbling as I stood patiently waiting for my very own plate of hot-off-the-grill oysters.
Oozing, bubbling, hot, plump and juicy.
The snow crab legs were prepared in batches as well, tasted fresh and not too salty.
People were getting them by the platefuls so there was about a 10-15 min wait for them to prepare another batch.
The BBQ pork ribs were tasty and tenderly fell of the bone.
Sides were average- nothing out of the ordinary.
I did come across a garlic biscuit by the pasta bar which was good!
On the downside, the cornbread was too oily and the dinner roll was dry and stale, so I would not get either of them again.
All of the food was served piping hot good warmers and not lukewarm like many casino buffets I have been to.
There is nothing worse than eating barely warm food.
The overall taste of the buffet main food items and sides was surprisingly good and service was attentive plates were taken away quickly, plentiful napkins and drinks were always full.
If you know me and my love of food, then you know that I love love love desserts.
No matter how much I eat, I always save room for dessert.
The most appealing thing about the dessert station was the irresistible CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!
You'll have to wait for an attendant to serve you items dipped in the fountain.
The other highlight of the here station was the chocolate chip cookie, which was freshly baked out of the oven - nothing like a warm chocolate chip cookie in all its soft yet crunchy, gooey goodness to hit that sweet dessert spot.
Oh and those coconut dream bars were a pleasant and tasty treat too!
There were a variety of cakes and pies, hot desserts like warm chocolate cake and bread pudding, soft-serve ice cream.
Don't forget that desserts pair nicely with a freshly brewed cup of strong, hot coffee!
I came here with no expectations, having had some of the best casino buffets in Las Vegas.
For the area, although Heritage Buffet doesn't have the variety and spacious area that Bossier City's Margaritaville Buffet has, it certainly is able to deliver hot, tasty food.
Your belly will leave very happy, especially more so if you saved room for dessert.
I would come again for seafood night, although I wish the prices weren't so steep.
Aside from the minor negatives, I had a great dining experience at Heritage Buffet and hope that yours is too!
I've been coming here for years and only recently have I experienced the lack of quality from previous years.
The food doesn't even taste as good as before, not to mention, I find myself checking the buffet 7-8 times before the staff refills a certain dish.
Also, I can't get the staff to restock the sugar free apple pies even if my life depended on it.
The chocolate foundation and source ice cream were fantastic additions that have since been removed and honestly, I do not see myself returning here.
The price is too high for such disappointing quality.
Food is fantastic, but staff is pitiful.
We went on a Thursday night at 7 PM and arrived to a bombed out and depleted buffet.
Management was less than concerned and just said "sorry, we are short staffed.
I have eaten here and Magnolia Hill before.
Today Heritage Buffet didn't make the trip.
Fish tasted like wild caught and not pond raised, soft drinks taste terrible, greens were seasoned with Jalapeño pepper juice, and not a smoked meat flavor.
Some 'hot' items learn more here cold, but service was great.
The brsy6 thing I've had so far was the salad.
I am glad we did not let the 1-star reviews dissuade us from https://reliance-pw.ru/casino/william-hill-casino-withdrawal-methods.html />We stopped overnight in Vicksburg and decided to try the Heritage Buffet.
The food was warm and the buffet was well stocked.
We are not big fans of buffets and were not terribly impressed with the food quality, but that is more of a reflection of any food cooked in large quantities and kept under heat lamps, than the Heritage Buffet itself.
The staff were all genuinely courteous and helpful.
The food itself was 3.
I saw a sign on the the way in saying the best buffet in town.
If this was the best thank goodness I didn't eat at number 2!
Food mediocre at best and out of a lot of stuff!
The wait staff non existent and if you can find someone to ask about something being out they just blow you off like your trying to cause trouble.
This a very good restaurant for you to entertain out of town guest or business.
For the amount it is well worth it.
First time eating here I will be back.
I live in Jackson 45 mins away and I don't mind the drive.
There was a time when the Heritage Buffet was comparable to the finest buffets in Vegas.
Gone are the Vicksburg mashed potatoes, the black eyes peas with large pieces of ham hock, and the Vicksburg creamed corn.
Now the fried chicken is not marinated but the skin is over salted.
Now we have pedestrian cream corn, mashed potatoes that taste like from a box and no greens with ham hock.
The deserts indistinguishable from each other.
Just sugar in great lumps.
The rest is similar in a great lack of quality.
It's just another casino tasteless buffet and it's overpriced to boot.
Went there to eat Tuesday evening.
Everything was going very well; friendly staff, good food, large salad bar with lots of choices, etc.
Then I went through the ameristar casino in jackson ms food line, to each station.
I got halfway through, and got to the station where there was fried catfish.
It was fried up, on a serving platter, and looked incredibly good.
And then, the unthinkable happened.
An employee, behind the serving line, reached into the platter of fried fish, WITH HER BARE HANDS, and pulled out a piece of fish and started eating it, as I was standing there with a shocked look on my face.
I decided that I didn't want any of the fish, and also that I didn't want casino rozvadov eat anything else.
We all know that things like this happen all the time in kitchens everywhere, but who would have thought it would happen right out in the open, in front of customers.
Pretty disgusting Ameristar; I expected better from you.
This is the Ameristar casino buffet.
You get there by going to the casino, finding the up escalator which takes you to the line for the buffet.
Seafood is only served on the weekends yummy snow more info legs!
There was a large variety of food and all of it was very good.
I am a very picky eater, but everything tasted very good.
Outstanding service, fresh food tasted very good, they seem to care about serving quality food.
Definitely will go back if passing through.
I went on the Saturday seafood buffet.
I enjoy the variety, quality, and service here at Ameristar Casino.
They did not have strawberries for the chocolate fountain at the dessert station, but the coconut cake is a must!
Out of all casino seafood buffets in the central river region, this one is the best.
This buffet used to feature steaks on their weekend seafood dinner buffets about 4-5 years ago.
As vegetarians it's not always as easy as you think having choices at a buffet.
I would have rated it lower except one of the chefs there an older Indian woman was the only one who listened and cared when I asked about the vegetables if there was meat in them.
All the men said yes but couldn't make me any of them without it.
One made a rude comment about me being a damn vegetarian.
She came to me and said she would made me some green beans which were amazing!
She made enough so my husband and I could share and brought it to our table then had another cook bring me the pasta I ordered to our table.
For us choices ameristar casino in jackson ms plenty but for meat eaters the food was really good and fresh.
She also recommended the bread pudding and it was spot on.
Dinner was a little pricey having eaten no meat which is the most expensive part of the meal.
They should offer vegetarian prices too.
As good as it gets!

Campground Reviews is now Available through the RV LIFE App on iPhones, iPads, and Android Devices.
We I hooked up in a raging rain storm with with the potential for severe weather.
The reception staff suggested we take shelter in the office if the weather got worse; luckily it didn't.
Check in was fast and efficient.
The park is across the street from the casino not very walkable with a shuttle available.
Only took a couple of minutes for it to arrive.
Don't pull too far forward otherwise you'll need a sewer hose extension.
Most sites click the following article level, biggest casino in seattle area a few had a definite list to the passenger side.
We were traveling in a motor home and would definitely stay here again.
As is typical of most casinos, it was smokey but not too bad.
The buffet is only open Friday and Saturdays so if you want a meal out, the cafe is your only option.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
We did enjoy the area.
Managers were really super!
Across the street from the casino and buffet.
Clean campground with a good location.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Drove through Vicksburg Civil War Battlefield Park a couple of times.
You could spend a week in the park and never absorb all the history.
Rusty's is a great place to eat.
Route 61 Coffee shop in the old downtown by the river is a cool place to sit at a sidewalk table and relax!
We saw a paddle wheel riverboat stop one day!
Perhaps it's better in the 50 amp section.
Some complain about the large slope leading in and out of the park but it is absolutely no issue.
https://reliance-pw.ru/casino/casinos-napa-valley-cabernet-sauvignon.html the read more from the casino which a free shuttle will take you to and from your site.
Very close to the National Military Park which is worth a visit.
Very close to I-20.
This is a solid park for a short term stay.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
There is a shuttle bus to the casino that can be called and they will come to your site.
The sites are long and paved with full hook up.
It's very convenient for an overnight or longer.
We arrived after the office had closed but our reservation was taped to the door with site location and other details.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
All spots are pull-through and appear to be of similar length.
Our rig is 62' and we were just barely able to fit without having to unhook which is a big plus for me when looking for a night stop.
The pads are narrow and the trees are all over grown but be careful and take your time and you will be fine.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an average park that has FHU sites that are fairly small and often not level.
They have cable TV and most sites appear to be satellite friendly.
I have not experienced Wi-Fi problems that others have.
We camped at Ameristar PlayMillion Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
Sites are a mix of 30 and 50 amps, but are all narrow and short 50-55 feet.
The sites are concrete, but many sites are noticeably unlevel and the entire park is on uneven ground.
We stayed ameristar casino in jackson ms site 41, a slightly unlevel side to side 30 amp site.
Our site had a large tree that desperately needed trimming, and also hindered our ability to get out of the site properly.
The only amenities this park has are a small pool not open during our stay and laundry area.
Bathroom had two toilets and two showers per gender and were kept clean.
Utilities worked well except the breaker kept tripping.
We had to use our generator until maintenance came and replaced the breaker.
No channel guide provided either.
Verizon service was very good.
Free wifi but we didn't use.
Overall, this park was just average and I doubt we will ever return.
Such a shame because we really enjoyed the casino!
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
We ate at the buffet twice during our stay and really enjoyed it.
Sites are clean but close together, not very level.
Good electric, sewer and water but poor cable and no wifi at our spot fairly close to the office.
There is a regular free shuttle to the casino.
We ate at the buffet and it was excellent.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
This is an average park located close to the Mississippi river and near four casinos.
The sit had a concrete pad but it was broken up and not level.
It took time to get things as level as possible.
All the lots I looked at had the same issues.
Security drove through several times a day and night.
One nice perk is there is a shuttle that will pick you up from your site and drop you off at the casino and bring you back when you are ready.
Wi-Fi - weak signal; T-Mobile - 1 of 4 bars; Electric - no issues; Water - no issues; Sewer - no issues; Satellite - no issues.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
The park is kept up well.
Some sites not level.
Easy in and out.
Entire park pull through sites.
Check in is right as you pull in the RV Park.
Safe feeling, city as well as casino patrol here.
Usually laundry, but machines broke and brand new ones had not arrived.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
We recieved the Good Sam's discount for being retired military.
We were at a 30 amp only site, these are more available than the 50 amp sites.
All sites included cable TV.
Wifi did not work well.
We used our Verizon jet pack.
We requested a site close to the bathrooms and were only 2 sites away.
There is also a large concrete lot, without hookups, where rigs can overnight for free.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in casino watertown sd jewels Travel Trailer.
Very interesting civil war battle field.
Museums we visited were Court House, Coke a Cola and Mississippi IV River Motor Vessel tug boat.
click to see more were good, the tug boat was free.
I was told that all the level sites that were available were 50 amp.
I said that was fine so I was assigned site 60.
I had no problem getting in and out of site 60.
FHUscable tv was good high water pressureamps good, WiFi unavailable at my site.
This a good short term park if you are traveling through and not looking for a camping experience.
This is what we want and would stay here again if level site is available.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
We stayed 3 nights because we wanted to visit a number of historic sites in the area, but we would not choose the CG as a place to just hang-out, relax and picnic with our neighbors.
We observed that most other CG visitors were folks who worked in the nearby river-front casinos or were were attracted to the area because of the local gaming opportunities.
The CG does provide a free shuttle to Ameristar casino.
It's OK to walk dogs around the exterior of the CG, but there is no designated dog area.
We would return to the park, but only if we click the following article a reason to visit the area.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
FHU, mostly level pull throughs, wifi, cable.
Mostly a 'stop-over' park with folks staying one night; some campers staying a couple of days to explore the area and visit casinos.
Appear to be several long-term residents but the park is clean and well kept.
Free 24 hour shuttle to casino.
No gate but roving security 24 hrs.
Walmart, grocery store, restaurants and such nearby.
We camped here for a week.
Easy access to historic Vicksburg and Nat'l Military Park.
Military Park a must see if you enjoy Civil War history.
Enjoyed lunch at Walnut Hills Restaurant.
Views of Mississippi River from ameristar casino in jackson ms vantage points are spectacular.
Great price and lots to do in the area.
Love the shuttle to the casino.
Need to fix the washing machine.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Drove through Vicksburg Civil War Battlefield Park a couple of times.
You could spend a week in the park and never absorb all the history.
Rusty's is a great place to eat.
Route 61 Coffee shop in the old downtown by the river is a ameristar casino in jackson ms place to sit at a sidewalk table and relax!
We saw a paddle wheel riverboat stop one day!
We ate at the buffet twice during our stay and really enjoyed it.
The view of the bridge and river at sunset from the casino was very nice.
One hour drive to Poverty Point.
Will spend more time in downtown Vicksburg next time.
Very interesting flood gauges in downtown Vicksburg near the river bank.
Visiting the Vicksburg National Military Park is a must.
Very interesting civil war battle field.
Museums we visited were Court House, Coke a Cola and Mississippi IV River Motor Vessel tug boat.
All were good, the tug boat was free.
Enjoyed learn more here at Walnut Hills Restaurant.
Views of Mississippi River from several vantage points are spectacular.
It was really fun to have a family feed us in this beautiful home.
Couple of resturants and buffet also.
Include a stop at the Cairo Museum part of the Battlefield.
For local southern cuisine, I recommend eating at the Walnut Hills restaurant, which is close to the park, but you'll need to drive there.
Shops along the waterfront are also somewhat interesting.
An awesome view of the Mississippi River.
Allow time to visit the American Civil War National Park.
We enjoyed going through ameristar casino in jackson ms Military Park seeing the monuments and learning some of the history of the battle that took place in Vicksburg.
Of course there are casinos galore.
Be sure to visit the National Military Park, Cemetery and the USS Cairo.
Wall of Murals is interesting along with the Lower River Museum.
Visit the downtown shops along Washington Street: very cute.
Lunch or dinner at 10 South: rooftop restaurant on Washington.
Excellent food and stunning view.
If you're lucky The Mississippi Queen riverboat might dock fo a stay!
The Battle Field at Vicksburg and especially the USS Cairo Museum are sights to see, If you have the time see the Gray and Blue Naval Museum.
Shopping is close and so is downtown.
The shuttle is free, and the drivers are terrific!
Casino, if you are into those.
During our week-long stay, we enjoyed the Vicksburg National Military Park, the Riverfront Murals, the Old Courthouse Museum, and the Coca-Cola Museum.
From the RV Park, we also drove to Jackson to tour the State Capitol and the Old Capitol Museum.
It also has the U.
Cairo Museum in the park as well as the Vicksburg National Cemetery.
Grammy Museum a 2 hour drive, but we enjoyed it.
I scratched RV and ended up staying on my generator in parking lot.
Don't mill the old mansion forgot the name that still has a cannon ball in the ball.
The war took a toll on Vicksburg.
Rusty's Bar and Grill was excellent informal lunch with Southern food at moderate price.
If you are interested in the civil war it is a must visit.
We also drove to the Cyprus Swamp on the Natchez Trace a long trip but there are not many swamps in SoCal.
We enjoyed the area.
If you are a history buff, this is a place to see.
The battle lines were laid out by veterans both Union and Confederate that participated in the battle for Vicksburg.
There are quite a number of historic buildings downtown.
Don't bother with the Railroad Depot Museum, it is mainly a bunch of model trains, ships, and airplanes.
We went to the old courthouse museum but backed out as soon as we entered due to the extremely strong odor of mold, to which I kentucky locations highly allergic.
For a great view of the river and bridges, go to the Mississippi Welcome Center just a few hundred yards west on US 61.
Good food, both buffet and steakhouse.
Waffle House across the bridge, a mile or less away, west side.
Very well done, drive through, get app for info.
The park is 3 miles from the campground, visitor center, 16-miles loop depicting the Union and Confederate forces strategy during this epic battle.
The casino is a 5 minute walk or take the shuttle.
It sits on the river, which is the best part!
They are larger and seem to be level.
Mississippi River is an easy walk.
Lots of history in Vicksburg.
Casino across street via shuttle.
The casino had restaurants and music.
Vicksburg is a great historic town.
There is the excellent Mississippi River Museum and the National Military Park which again is excellent and certainly worth a visit.
The old homes in Natchez are just a little over an hour away and you can drive part of the way on the Natchez Trace Parkway.
We spent an entire day there.
Instead I crossed the bridge and turned back to Vicksburg at the first exit in LA, then took the first exit in MS for the casino.
We drove to the casino even with the shuttle service and used the valet.
There is also a Kroger grocery store close.
Call for hours if visiting museums because they're not always the same as their websites.

Only took a couple of minutes for it to arrive.
Don't pull too far forward otherwise you'll need a sewer hose extension.
Most sites were level, but a loader casino heat had a definite list to the passenger side.
We were traveling in a motor home and would definitely stay here again.

The buffet is only open Friday and Saturdays so if you want a meal out, the cafe is your only option.

Sites are a mix of 30 and 50 amps, but are all narrow and short 50-55 feet.
The sites are concrete, but many sites are noticeably unlevel and the entire park is on uneven ground.
We stayed in site 41, a slightly unlevel side to side 30 amp site.
Our site had a large tree that desperately needed trimming, and also hindered our ability to get out of the site properly.
The only amenities this park has are a small pool not open during our stay and laundry area.
Bathroom had two toilets and two showers per gender and were kept clean.

The other highlight of the dessert station was the chocolate chip cookie, which was freshly baked out of the oven - nothing like a warm chocolate chip cookie in all its soft yet crunchy, gooey goodness to hit that sweet dessert spot.
The food doesn't even taste as good as before, not to mention, I find myself checking the buffet golf masters christchurch course casino times before the staff refills a certain dish.
Also, I can't get the staff to restock the sugar free apple pies even if my life depended on it.
The chocolate foundation and self-serve ice cream were fantastic additions that have since been removed and honestly, I do not see myself returning here.
Some 'hot' items were cold, but service was great.
The brsy6 thing I've had so far was the salad.
I am glad we did not let the 1-star reviews dissuade us from visiting.
We stopped overnight in Vicksburg and decided to try the Heritage Buffet.
Now we have walgreens casino howell nj cream corn, mashed potatoes that taste like from a box and no greens with ham hock.
Then I went through the hot food line, to each station.
I decided that I didn't want any of the fish, and also that I didn't want to eat anything else.
Seafood is only served on the weekends yummy snow crab legs!
There was a large variety of food and all of it was very good.
Great food for great price.
I am a very picky eater, but everything tasted very good.
Outstanding service, fresh food tasted very good, they seem to care about serving quality food.
Definitely will go back if passing through.
I went on the Saturday seafood buffet.
I enjoy the variety, quality, and service here at Ameristar Casino.
gran casino de monte carlo did not have strawberries for the chocolate fountain at check this out dessert station, but the coconut cake is a must!
For us choices weren't plenty but for meat eaters the food was really good and fresh.

Most sites were level, but a few go here a definite list to the passenger side.
We were traveling in a motor home and would definitely article source here again.
As is typical of most casinos, it was smokey but not too bad.
The buffet is only open Friday and Saturdays so if you want a meal out, the cafe is your only option.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
We learn more here enjoy the area.
Managers were really super!
Across the street from the casino and buffet.
Clean campground with a good location.
Would definitely spend several days there again.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Drove through Ameristar casino in jackson ms Civil War Battlefield Park a couple of times.
You could spend a week in the park and never absorb all the history.
Rusty's is a great ameristar casino in jackson ms to eat.
Across the street from the casino which a free shuttle will take you to and from your site.
Very close to the National Military Park which is worth a visit.
Very close to I-20.
This is a solid park for a short term stay.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
There is a shuttle bus to the casino that can be called and they will come to your site.
The sites are long and paved learn more here full hook up.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
Sites are a mix of 30 and 50 amps, but are all narrow and short 50-55 feet.
The sites are concrete, but many sites are noticeably unlevel and the entire park is on uneven ground.
We stayed in site 41, a slightly unlevel side to side 30 check this out site.
We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Very interesting civil war battle field.
Museums we visited were Court House, Coke a Cola and Mississippi IV River Motor Vessel tug boat.
All were good, the tug boat was free.
We would return to the park, but only if we had a reason to visit the area.

Enjoyed lunch at Walnut Hills Restaurant.
We enjoyed going through the Military Park seeing the monuments and learning some of the history of the battle that took place your mukilteo casino auburn wa what Vicksburg.
Of course there are casinos galore.

From the RV Park, we also drove to Jackson ameristar casino in jackson ms tour the State Capitol and the Old Capitol Museum.
Rusty's Bar and Visit web page was excellent informal lunch with Southern food at moderate price.
We went to the old courthouse museum but backed out as soon as we entered due to the extremely strong odor of mold, to which I am highly allergic.
For a great view of the river and bridges, go to the Mississippi Welcome Center just a few hundred yards west on US 61.
Good food, both buffet ameristar casino in jackson ms steakhouse.
Waffle Ameristar casino in jackson ms across the bridge, a mile or less away, west side.
Vicksburg Battlefield Park is a must-see.

Heritage Buffet is located inside Vicksburg's Ameristar Casino.
After you go through the main entrance into the casino, stop by the cashier to pick up a free MyChoice player's card if you don't already have one.
If you have a MyChoice card from another state, it ameristar casino in jackson ms not work here because their systems are not connected.
The other highlight of the dessert station was the chocolate chip cookie, which was freshly baked out of the oven - nothing like a warm chocolate chip cookie in all its soft yet crunchy, gooey goodness to hit that sweet dessert spot.
The chocolate foundation and self-serve ice cream read article fantastic additions that have since been removed and honestly, I do not see myself returning here.
Some 'hot' items were cold, but service was great.
The brsy6 thing I've had so far was the salad.
I am glad we did not let the 1-star reviews dissuade us from visiting.
We stopped overnight in Vicksburg and decided to try the Heritage Buffet.
Gone are the Vicksburg mashed potatoes, the black eyes peas with large please click for source of ham hock, and the Vicksburg creamed corn.
Then I went through the hot food line, to each station.
I decided that I didn't want any of the fish, and also that I didn't want to eat anything else.
We all know that things like this happen all the time in kitchens everywhere, but who would have grin keycard golden casino it would happen right out in the open, in front of customers.
Pretty disgusting Ameristar; I expected better from you.
This is the Ameristar casino buffet.
You get there by going to the casino, finding the up escalator which takes you to the line for the buffet.
For us choices weren't plenty but for meat eaters the food was really good and fresh.
She also recommended the bread pudding and it was spot on.
Dinner was a little pricey having eaten no meat which is the most expensive part of the meal.
They should offer vegetarian prices too.
As good as it gets!
